Patient of the Month
We would like to introduce you to our December Patient of the Month, Maggie.
Maggie is a 3 year old mixed breed dog who was adopted from a shelter in Tennessee last year. Unfortunately this past March, she tested positive for heartworm disease and began treatment. Today, Maggie has been officially tested and confirmed heartworm negative! Congrats to Maggie and her family.
Thank You Letter From Dr Castillo on 20 Years at FVC!
About 2 weeks ago, my staff threw me a surprise party to celebrate my 20 year anniversary here at the Franklin Veterinary Clinic. I was truly taken by surprise!! 20 years in the blink of an eye!
So, thank you to my family, Ellen, Austin and Carter for being there and understanding the interruptions on holidays, weekends and nights helping the families of the community with their pets and making room at the house for the sick pets I take home with me!
Thank You to all of our clients who have entrusted us with the care of their 4-legged family members. Some who I have gotten to know personally and who have become good friends. Some who travel far distances to see us as they pass by many other vet practices from Quincy, RI, Boston, Blackstone, Uxbridge, Worcester, and Framingham etc.
A very warm thank you to my staff both present and past, who have helped build the practice and sacrificed time away from their own families but have created and become part of this Franklin Vet Clinic work family!! Thank You to my present Vet associates, Dr. Gray and Dr. Wesley and to some of the previous ones like Dr. Berard and Dr. Raymond. Thank You to my staff members both receptionists and technicians, some who have been with me over 15 years like Cathy, Pam and Loren and the others who are not far behind in years here: Nichole, Tom, Sheri, Karen, Mara, Jamie, Lisa, Suzie, Joanna, Tracy, Heidi and Eliza.
It's been more than a job, it's been and adventure, a journey of weddings, babies, divorces, sickness both good times and difficult ones but we have kept moving forward through it all.
It's been 20 years since Mr. and Mrs. Andy Bissanti welcomed me as their new neighbor. I remember the Sunday I was at the clinic answering phones and cleaning up when Gloria Bissanti greeted me with some Italian food and said "welcome to Franklin, can you help me with some stray kittens?" That's an old school hospitality that thankfully still exists here at our practice!
Thank You to All
